Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. said Friday it has promoted three executives to managing director and practice leader within its U.S. retail property/casualty brokerage division.
Evan Hessel was named managing director – casualty. Mr. Hessel joined Gallagher as part of the Woodruff Sawyer acquisition in 2025, where he served as senior vice president – casualty practice leader. He is experienced with risk financing strategies and optimizing insurance programs, Gallagher said in a statement.
Cheryl Karim was promoted to managing director – fine arts. Ms. Karim joined Gallagher in 2013 and has over three decades of experience specializing in fine arts and jewelry insurance. She was most recently area senior vice president.
Tom Harper was named managing director – data centers. Mr. Harper joined Gallagher as part of the AssuredPartners acquisition in 2025 and specializes in coverage strategies for large-scale infrastructure across data centers, power generation and energy transition assets, the brokerage said. He was most recently area president.
