New York-based Simpson Thacher and Bartlett added three partners to its insurance transactional and regulatory team.
Dennis Manfredi and Joseph Cosentino will join Jared Wilner as co-heads of the Simpson Thacher team. They had been partners at Clifford Chance in New York, where Mr. Manfredi had been co-head of the firm’s U.S. insurance practice, according to their LinkedIn profiles.
Benjamin Kralstein joins from Mayer Brown in New York, where he had been a partner.
The new partners will help the firm deepen their expertise at a time when “the convergence of private equity and insurance continues to reshape the market,” said Alden Millard, chair of the firm’s executive committee.
