Jencap parent announces leadership appointments

Galway Specialty Wholesale, the parent company of wholesaler Jencap Group, on Tuesday announced a series of leadership appointments across the organization.

Galway Specialty Wholesale, the parent company of wholesaler Jencap Group, on Tuesday announced a series of leadership appointments across the organization.

Charlotte-based Dave Nielsen was named chief operating officer of Galway Specialty Wholesale, while Kyle Struble was promoted to chief financial officer, succeeding Mr. Nielsen.

Mr. Struble, based in Rochester, New York, previously was chief financial officer of Paragon Insurance Holdings, Galway Specialty Wholesale’s managing general agency unit.

At Jencap, John LaCava was named president of Jencap Programs, while Joe Hayes was appointed president of the brokerage division.

New York-based Mr. LaCava previously was president and CEO of Jencap Program Administrators. Mr. Hayes, also based in New York, most recently was national casualty practice leader.

Tom Murphy, executive vice president, was promoted to office president and chief growth officer, programs. Mr. Murphy is based in Red Bank, New Jersey.

Matthew Dunn was named executive vice president of business operations and acquisitions. He previously was a member of Jencap’s corporate development and acquisitions team.

The appointments are intended to strengthen the company’s leadership structure and support long-term growth, Galway Specialty Wholesale said in a statement.
