Typhoon forces widespread travel cancellations
As Typhoon Bavi approaches, Taiwan has forced the cancellation of flights, ferries and rail services, Taipei Times reported. China Airlines Ltd. and Tigerair Taiwan Company Ltd. rescheduled or canceled both domestic and international flights, while all Taiwanese airlines have canceled their Saturday flights from Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport. In eastern Taiwan, all ferry services were suspended from Wednesday afternoon through Saturday.
