New measures aim to woo foreign reinsurers to China
Chinese regulators have announced measures to accelerate the development of the Shanghai International Reinsurance Center, including extending support for overseas reinsurers and brokers seeking to expand in the country’s reinsurance market, Reinsurance News reported. The government will also support foreign insurers in opening dedicated custody and fund settlement accounts at the trading center.
