EU greenlights Zurich’s $10.8B Beazley acquisition
The European Commission has approved Switzerland-based Zurich Insurance Group Ltd.’s 8.1 billion British pound ($10.8 billion) all-cash acquisition of London-headquartered Beazley plc in an, Reinsurance News reported. The commission concluded that the deal would not raise competition concerns because of the companies’ limited market positions.
